Party Thyme at Project Farmhouse
Okay, that was cheesy. But it really was "party time" at Project Farmhouse! Located near Union Square NYC right next to the Hyatt Union Square Hotel, this sustainability center and venue space is available for events! The main hall has white walls (cue your creative juice flow) and the atrium's high ceilings has criss-cross beams to give that farmhouse appearance some depth. Projection and sound are available in this room.
In the back of the main hall are glass doors that access the conference room, also high ceilings and a wood panel back wall. I've seen a photo of this room set with a wooden conference table for 16 people. Included in the conference room are AV access (such as the flat screen TV) and a white board. Here's a video I took from the conference room:
Once of my favorite elements of Project Farmhouse is the Con Edison Green wall where plants or herbs are grown.
If you're thinking of a health-oriented swag bag, why not give away vegetables? I thought this was brilliant. Upon checking in to the event, we saw a wall of farm-fresh vegetables (which I assumed they got from the Union Square Market). I thought it was an awful lot of vegetables for just decorations. On the way out, we were given an empty sack and we were asked to take some vegetables home with us. Yes, please!
