Salvation Taco NYC
Everyone who comes to Salvation Taco for happy hour loves this place! The Mexican decor exudes a fun vibe, yet it's not overly done, with wood beamed ceilings and colorful paper lanterns. The restaurant and lounge have hightop tables and barstools as well as communal seating. Private rooms include falt screen and ping pong tables. Heck, I celebrated my birthday here one year. As soon as you step inside, you know you're going to have a good time. This place is perfect for parties so let's talk about the space!
The Lounge
If you look at the photo below, you'll see that the lounge is a rectangular room. Thereis a built-in bar if you want to opennit for your event. This room can be divided into three sections: half rental which can fit 25 to 45 guests; 3/4 rental which can fit up to 65 guests, and full rental of the lounge which can fit up to 125 guests.
Ping Pong / Private Dining Rooms
Against the back wall on either end of the lounge are two smaller rooms wtih glass walls. Both rooms are decorated in the same style as the lounge, but are both equipped with flat screen TVs with HDMI capabilities. Normally these rooms would have a ping pong table in them (which would be great for team building tournaments), but they can also fit communal tables to accommodate a board meeting or a working dinner. Each of these rooms can accommodate groups up to 20 people seated.
Indoor Rooftop Foyer and Rooftop
Salvation Taco also Services the Rooftop on the 17th Floor which is part of the Pod 39 Hotel. The restaurant has a door that opens directly into the hotel lobby which is where guests will find the elevator to the 17th floor .
The rooftop foyer is like a cabana lounge that can fit 30 guests. It has oversized arched windows and cushy seats. The door to the rooftop is right in the middle of it all, which opens to a small landing behind the outside bar.
The rooftop itself has red brickwork arches and great viewsof the city. Its mostly hightops here and there is also a bar under the greeb and white striped canopy (probably to match the ivy on the columns). Groups of up to 40 guests can reserve a portion of the rooftop, but I would contact Salvation Taco for the specific area.
